These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Roolz game and related online services (the “Service”) provided by Garnix Games (“Garnix”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, downloading or using the Service, or agreeing to these Terms where offered (including at login or registration), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must meet any minimum age and capacity requirements under applicable law. Paid features (such as scoreboard message bids) may require you to be old enough to enter into a binding contract and to use an approved payment method. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your private, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with the rules of the game and applicable store policies.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post or share content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, spam, or otherwise harmful. You agree not to cheat, exploit, automate unfairly, harass others, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload our systems, reverse engineer except where law permits, or use the Service for unlawful purposes.
Banter and other social features include automated filtering, in-app reporting, and user blocking. We review reports and aim to remove violating content and suspend offending accounts within 24 hours. We may investigate violations and cooperate with authorities where required.
Banter includes nation-wide feeds and team-specific message boards (for example, boards tied to a user’s home-field team such as Houston or Texas). Users may be suspended from Banter for trolling or otherwise abusing those team-specific boards—including hostile, disruptive, or bad-faith posts aimed at fans of that team—as well as for other violations of these Terms. Suspended users may retain limited visibility into Banter while posting and other features remain restricted until the issue is resolved. Under Perro league Banter (private league message boards) is separate from public Banter and is not limited by a public Banter suspension.
If the Service allows you to submit content (e.g., Banter posts, direct messages, profile fields, scoreboard bid messages, or optional pictures attached to scoreboard bids), you retain ownership you already have, but you grant Garnix a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute such content solely as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service. You represent you have the rights to grant this license (including rights in any likeness or image you upload) and that your content complies with Section 5.
The Service may let you place a bid in U.S. dollars for a chance to display a short custom message on the hub scoreboard LED on a future calendar date (UTC). You may optionally attach a picture to your bid. Key rules:

If we offer other purchases: prices, availability, and rules are as shown in-product and in store terms. Virtual items may be licensed, not sold, and may be modified or discontinued. Unless required by law or store policy, purchases may be non-refundable.
The Service, including software, art, audio, text, and branding, is owned by Garnix or its licensors. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted.
Roolz is an unofficial fan and entertainment product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ESPN, the NCAA, any conference, college, university, athletic department, team, player, broadcaster, or sports data provider.
Roolz is free to download and supported in part by advertising. By using the Service, you agree that we and our advertising partner Google AdMob may display:
We do not control the content of third-party ads. Report problematic ads through in-app support or your app store. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.
The Service may rely on platform providers (e.g., app stores), Stripe for payments, Google AdMob for ads, and other vendors. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of their services. Public sports pages and similar sources may be used to populate unofficial Stats and Banter information as described in Section 11; those providers’ terms apply to their own sites and services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPORTS SCORES, STATISTICS, AND ROSTERS ARE UNOFFICIAL AND MAY BE WRONG OR DELAYED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GARNIX AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50), UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
You will defend and indemnify Garnix against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content (including bid messages and optional bid pictures), or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.
We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will provide notice as required by law or platform rules (e.g., posting updated Terms with a new effective date). Continued use may constitute acceptance where permitted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you and Garnix agree that exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer and applicable law requires otherwise, that law controls. Garnix may update this section if our principal place of business changes.
